Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) to the Venue (Chang Gung Memorial Hospital – Research Building, International Conference Hall )

Route Summary

Take the Airport MRT from Airport Terminal 1 Station (A12) or Airport Terminal 2 Station (A13) to Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Station (A8). After exiting the station, the venue is just a 5–8 minute walk.

Part 1: Getting to the Airport MRT Station

Baggage Claim and Customs

After arriving at Taoyuan Airport, please complete immigration procedures, collect your checked luggage, and clear customs.

Follow the Signs

After leaving the baggage claim area, look for signs pointing towards “Airport MRT” or “MRT / Airport Express”.

Proceed to the Designated Floor

Follow the escalators or elevators down to the platform level

Terminal 1: Go to the B2 level to reach Airport Terminal 1 Station (A12).
Terminal 2: Go to the B2 level to reach Airport Terminal 2 Station (A13).

Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the MRT station.

Purchase Tickets and Board

You can purchase a single journey ticket inside the station or use an electronic stored value card (EasyCard, iPASS, etc.) to tap and enter.

Select fare towards Taipei direction (Platform 2).

The ticket vending machine offers multiple language options.

Part 2: Taking the MRT to Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Station (A8)

The Taoyuan Airport MRT offers two train types. Both stop at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Station (A8).

Part 3: From A8 Station to the Venue

Exit from either Exit 1 or Exit 2 of the Airport MRT Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Station (A8) to walk to the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital – Research Building, International Conference Hall.

Exit 1 is located inside the connected "Global Mall A8" building. After exiting, an overhead bridge provides direct access to the hospital's Rehabilitation Building, where the International Conference Hall is located. Making the walk to the Research Building easier and more convenient.

Exit 2

After exiting the station, walk along Wenming Rd. for about 3–5 minutes toward Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (CGMH). When you see the Research Building, turn left and follow the campus signs; the International Conference Hall is located inside the Research Building.
