Abstract submissions are divided into two categories: Oral Presentation and Poster Presentation.
The submission period for Oral Presentation abstracts is December 1, 2025 –January 30, 2026.
The submission period for Poster Presentation abstracts is December 1, 2025 –February 27, 2026.
All abstracts submitted on or before January 30, 2026 will receive notification of acceptance status by February 23, 2026.
All abstracts submitted on or before February 27, 2026 (final deadline) will receive notification of acceptance status in mid-March 2026.
Abstracts submitted for Oral Presentation that are not selected will automatically be considered for Poster Presentation.
All submissions must be made through the official abstract submission system. Email submissions will not be accepted.
Edits and new submissions will not be accepted after the deadline.
All abstracts that are submitted and complete at the time of the deadline will be peer reviewed by content experts.
The submitter is automatically the first/presenting author and will receive all correspondence regarding the abstract.
If an abstract is accepted, the presenting author must register for the conference at their own expense with an eligible registration.
The first author must submit with the intention to attend CMSCA 2026, present their poster in-person, and upload an ePoster. No virtual presentations are permitted.
Each presenting author may submit a maximum of two abstracts. Co-authors are not subject to a submission limit.
There is no fee to submit an abstract.
The first author is responsible for obtaining approval from all contributing authors and verifying the accuracy of their name and affiliation before submitting. No edits to the author list, including additions, subtractions, re-ordering, or corrections, can be made after the submission deadline.
Abstract Structure Guideline
1. No graphics or tables.
2. Do not use a bullet-point format; the entire text should be written in paragraph format.
3. Abstract body (Structured Abstract) is limited to 3,000 characters, including spaces.
4. Title is limited to ~30 words.
5. ListALLauthors. Example: Michael J. Anderson (1), Emily R. Davis (2)
*Use numbers (1, 2, etc) ONLY when there are multiple affiliations.
*Do NOT use numbered affiliations if all authors share the same affiliation.
6. Affiliation(s): Example: (1) National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan (2) University of California, Los Angeles, CA, USA
