生檢雜誌歡迎醫學檢驗相關科學領域之原著論文、綜論、交流短訊、案例報告、給編者的信等的研究調查報告投稿。本雜誌共分為七個主要部份:臨床生化學、血清免疫學、臨床血液及輸血醫學、病毒學、細菌學、臨床鏡檢學、以及品管或實驗室管理等其他臨床檢驗相關議題。本雜誌為季刊,由台灣醫事檢驗學會發行。
線上投稿-請依照網站規訂程序投稿。來稿請將所有內容(包含作者資訊,摘要,內文,圖表,照片)整理為『一個』WORD檔後上傳,請勿分成數個檔案。
來稿是否可以被接受刊登,將以文章之原創性、學術價值及是否符合本刊之宗旨作為接受刊登之考量標準。原稿可以中文或英文書寫。若以中文撰寫者,必須附上英文標題及英文摘要;反之亦然。投稿稿件以尚未被其他雜誌刊登或考慮刊登者為限,請勿一稿多投。
文章請以A4規格白紙單面撰寫,四個邊界至少各留2.5公分。原稿內文、表格、圖例、註腳段落等,一律設定為兩倍行高,且右邊不可調整齊邊。
標題頁請置首頁,內容應包括一個簡明的標題,作者全名,以及個別服務機構。通訊作者應附上完整通訊地址、電話、傳真等資料。無論以中文或英文撰寫內文,標題頁均需將相關資料以中文及英文分別呈現。首頁並應另外註明一個running title(簡題),其字數不可多於45個英文字或30個中文字。
來稿稿件除給編者的信外,皆應附上一篇不超過200字的摘要(交流短訊或案例報告之摘要字數應小於100字)。摘要中應陳述研究主題、使用技術、以及主要結論。另應提供三到五個關鍵字。
原著論文內容應依序包含以下結構:引言、材料與方法、結果、討論、致謝與參考文獻。文稿內容應就所使用的儀器及操作方法完整詳述,以供其他研究人員進行類似實驗時參考之用。儀器及所使用相關試劑應列出製造商名稱、公司所在地及國家。葯物商品名及學名應一併列出。交流短訊則將方法、結果、討論都寫在一起。
若有附圖,請提供對比清晰照片。圖片說明文字需設定為兩倍行高。顯微鏡所拍照片需註明比例尺大小與染色方式等相關資料。所有引用他人發表之圖、表均需註明出處,並取得原出版商的書面許可證明。彩色照片的顏色需足以翻印製版。圖片註解文字請設定為兩倍行高,並另起一頁書寫。
表格亦應設定為兩倍行高,每個表格均應分頁製作。相關格式將依本雜誌原有型式重新修正。表格應視需要使用,內文亦應儘量避免和表格內容重複。交流短訊內容至多可包括一個表格及一張圖片。
所有參考文獻應依內文提到的順序依次詳列於文末。下列為參考文獻撰寫格式:
交稿前請利用電腦程式或請教其他英文專家,仔細校閱文章之文法、拼字、及詞彙使用。投稿稿件可能因英文不佳或內容不符本雜誌宗旨而被直接退稿。請檢查並確認所有列舉之參考文獻及圖表均曾於內文中適當位置提到。本編輯部對來稿有修改權;如有修改,將於出版前取得原作者同意。
所有來稿於收到時將通知作者,並經過編委會聘請的2位審稿委員審查。如果審稿委員認為稿件內容需進一步修改,作者需在規定時間內盡速依委員建議修訂稿件。如果稿件不符接受標準,會告知退稿原因。如有重要資料,作者應自行保留一份原稿備用。稿件如果通過審核程序,將會電子信件通知作者。如有英文編修之必要時,須由原作者負擔相關費用。待稿件排版後,作者將會收到校樣以供校稿用。因為所有刊登文件之正確性係由原作者負責,請相關作者務必仔細校稿。

Journal of Biomedical and Laboratory Science seeks to publish Original Articles, Review Articles, Brief Communications and Letters to the Editor describing original investigations in all fields of clinical laboratory sciences with an application to medicine. The journal includes seven major sections: clinical studies in chemistry, serology and immunology, hematology and transfusion medicine, virology, bacteriology, clinical microscopy analysis, and quality control or other laboratory administration issues. The journal is issued quarterly and is published by Taiwan Society of Laboratory Medicine.
Authors should submit all manuscripts online. Manuscripts should include a cover letter indicating the suitable section of the manuscript and stating the consent of all authors to publication of the manuscript as well as the following copyright transfer statement, signed by all authors: "In consideration that the Journal of Biomedical and Laboratory Sciences will review the submitted manuscript and edit it if it is accepted, the undersigned authors hereby transfer, assign, or otherwise convey all copyright ownership to Taiwan Society of Laboratory Medicine in the event that the manuscript is published in the Journal of Biomedical and Laboratory Sciences".
All articles will be assessed on the basis of originality , scientific quality and fulfill the scope of the journal to determine their acceptability for publication. Manuscripts written in English or Chinese are both acceptable. An extra page of English title and abstract must be attached if the whole manuscript is written in Chinese, and vice versa. Manuscripts are accepted for review with the understanding that they have not been published elsewhere and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
The manuscript, tables, legends, and footnotes should be double spaced and typed on one side of white bond papers, 8.5 x II inch (21.6 x 27.9 cm) or ISO A4, with all margins of at least one inch (2.5 cm). The right margin should not be justified. When possible, text should be printed with a laser printer.
The title page should be the first page and include a concise title of the article, full names and affiliations of the authors, an address for correspondence and a telephone or fax number of the corresponding author. The title page should include a running title of not more than 45 English characters or 30 Chinese characters.
Each manuscript must be accompanied by an abstract of no more than 200 words in length (less than 100 words for brief communication). The abstract should state the objectives of the study, the techniques used, and the principle conclusions. Three to five key words should be provided.
The text of original articles should be organized under the following headings: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgments and References. The text should describe the equipment and methods in sufficient detail to permit other researchers to reconstruct the experimental procedures. Equipment and pharmaceutical trade names as well as company's name, place and country should be listed. Trade names of medicine should be stated with generic names. Do not use section headings in the body of the Brief communication; combine methods, results, and discussion in a single section.
Glossy photographs, submitted in triplicate, should have good contrast. A label should be affixed on the back of each photo indicating the figure number, the first author, and an arrow indicating the top of the photo. Legends for each illustration should be double spaced. Magnification and staining information should be included for all photomicrographs. All illustrations and tables taken from other publications must be accompanied by written consent to reprint from the original publishers. Photos must be of sufficient color for reproduction. Figure legends should be typed double-spaced on a separate sheet of paper.
Tables should by typed double spaced on separate sheets. All tables will be reset to conform with the style of the journal. Tables should be used sparingly and should avoid duplication of information in the text. For brief communication, please only submit one table and one figure.
All references should be cited at the end of the paper and listed consecutively in the order in which they appear in the text. The following are formats and examples for citing references:
Before submission, authors are encouraged to review their manuscript with computer grammar and spelling check software and with a colleague who is expert in English language, grammar and syntax. Manuscripts may be returned without review or rejected on the basis of poor English usage or unacceptable standards of style. Check to ensure that all listed references, figures, and tables cited in the text are presented in the appropriate sections. The editor reserves the right to make changes to improve the clarity of the text. All such changes will be subject to author's approval before publication.
Manuscripts are acknowledged upon receipt in the editorial offices. All manuscripts are subject to review by two independent referees chosen by the Editor. If revision is necessary, the author is asked to promptly submit three copies of the revised manuscript incorporating his responses to the suggestions and recommendations of the referees. When it is necessary to reject a manuscript, the editorial office will not return any materials. The authors are advised to keep an original copy of any important materials for further use. Reasons for rejection are generally stated. The author of an accepted manuscript will be notified. He/ she will then receive galley proofs for proofreading. Responsibility for accuracy in the final copy lies with the author. The proofs should be checked and returned within three days after receipt.
